Session three, allows attendees to see, hear, and feel the passion and purpose that leaders must possess to be successful, and to better understand how to inspire and motivate others.
Session II, Women as Agents of Change

Leading from the heart, mastering emotions, communication skills, group decision making and lessons in indirect aggression between women are the primary topics for this two day workshop. The goal is to develop new pathways that promote healthy methods of communicating when women are in conflict.

The Womens Global Leadership Initiative presented a two day workshop on November 6 and 7 highlighting leadership training for local women in Sonoma County, California. Dr. Lea co-lead this workshop to empower women to step into their personal leadership styles.

New Leaders Institute Workshop for
Middle School Mentors and Mentees

New Leaders will be introducing a new workshop for The Mentoring Alliance, piloting a workshop for Mentors and Mentees to further better communication and connection. Dr. Lea will lead this very cutting edge experience for 10 adults and 10 kids on March 10th. The purpose of this workshop is to foster leadership concepts between Mentors and Mentees who spend time together, play together and work together.

Global Coach Conference

In January, 2009, Dr. Lea lead a three day intensive class for international students at Soka University in Aliso Viejo, California. In partnership with the University, students will learn about Emotional Intelligence, in addition to building on personal strengths. They will be challenged to create their own personal style of leadership and take it into the world, by designing a group project that is challenging and in alignment with their values and personal style of leadership.

The theme is empowerment of girls through leadership workshops in both Kenya and Tanzania. The workshops will be led by Dr. Linda Lea and colleagues for the Marlene Assell Scholarship girls in both Kenya and Tanzania and will provide a personal connection with the girls for all who attend.
Inspiration will motivate the girls and call them into action in the world. Passion will be present as they discover that they are powerful and have a say in their future. And miracles will be ongoing - sprinkled around like fairy dust as this shift occurs.
